The Subtle Hues of Autumn

What makes you think of Autumn?  The leaves turning bright hues of gold, rust and yellow?  The cooler air?  Football?

The fields of cotton, apples, pumpkins, fall festivals, bon-fires, hot cider and all the colors of the season let me know that Autumn has arrived!

I found the old apple picking basket at a flea market in Asheville, NC.

The cotton stems were picked last year at a fall festival in a nearby town.

Oh, how I love the fall!

Enjoy your beautiful, colorful day!

Just found your blog, love this post of Fall. I especially love the branches of cotton. It reminds me of my mother. She would tell me stories of picking cotton in South Carolina. Thank you so much for sharing. New Follower.
Hugs,
Jody
