A Special Party

Several friends hosted this shower with me for our friend Katie and her beautiful adopted daughter, Annie Hope.  This is the work of some of my very talented friends...bruschetta, Champaign soaked fruit, chocolate covered strawberries and more!  I made the key lime tarts, which are my favorite!
~
Vintage items include the hat stands which hold my childhood bonnet and one new one for Annie Hope.  The stroller was an antique my mother acquired and was the center for holding gifts.  We also used silver baby cups to hold flowers and toothpicks.
The bear and bunny greeted guest when they arrived!  Katie will surely have many tea parties with her precious little girl.  What a special day for a special friend and her daughter!

What a lovely party for a special little girl to welcome her. Every detail is outstanding. I particularly like the baby items on the table and the use of the antique baby carriage was brilliant.

I am sure I saw this but don't see my comments. I don't want to let it go without commenting because it is such a lovely setting. I love the heirloom pieces that are so lovingly displayed. Every detail from the flowers to the food is just perfect. The best part is the smile on the new mama's face.
