I was super excited when an executive from the Christian Broadcast Network contacted me about using one of my photos for a segment on the history of the candy cane. It aired this morning on the 700 Club and here is the segment!
Thank you, Lesslie for sending this to me!
Some of you might remember this picture from last Christmas in the post, 'Three Pixie Lane at Home.' The really crazy thing is that this is the same post where Barbra Streisand found the picture for her album, What Matters Most! Crazy right?!
I hope this encourages all of you to keep up all the hard work that you pour into your DIY projects, homes, your families and your blogs! You never know who is watching!
Edit: You can find the white candy canes at Target. They come in a pack of solid red, solid green, and solid white by Gobstoppers.
Thank you CBN!
Merry Christmas!

Christie, great clip on candy canes, I use to buy white ones all the time and this year I can't find them to save my life... Merry Christmas
I think you're the only one I've seen with those white candy canes. They are so unique. Thanks for sharing the video too.
Christie, thanks for sharing this. I've been enjoying your recent posts as I have a cup of coffee this morning. Sorry I've been MIA of late. Your holiday decorations are lovely, and it was fun to see the photos of your children.
