Some cooler weather has arrived! I opened my windows last night and listened to the much needed rain falling loudly on the lake below. It was a hard rain, but it sounded so good. The cool air, the sound of rain, a big quilt...all make for a peaceful sleep...

Hi Christie! We are having the opposite weather! We have had an unusually cool summer in the NW and then now it is in the 80's and muggy. We get enough rain the rest of the year though, so I'm not complaining! :-) I just have to gush a little again and say that your photos are just so gorgeous and really should be in a magazine somewhere. Have you ever submitted them?

Oh how lovely.. Christie.... that sounds super exciting.. Here in Dubai... we still have summers.. the temperature.. is better.. a little bit.. for it to be comfortable.. and enjoyable.. i think we might have to wait till end of October.. :-)
Oh as always you do such a lovely post with pictures to go with it! I too love the rain especially in the month of January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December...oh wait that would mean I must live in the Pacific North West where it rains all the time and our feet are webbed:)
