A 'Salvaged Wood' Small Table

I used some old wood obtained from a salvage yard in Charleston, SC to add a new surface to this old table.
This little table sat out in the elements too long and was pretty much ready for the garbage.
The base needed cleaning, but was sturdy, so I pulled the rest of the slats off and added the salvaged bead board.
The small table finds a new home in the kids' tree house.
I hope to fix this space up for my kids using things from around the house and to make it feel like a really cool place to be!  To see the light fixture I made for the space, click here!

Have a great day!

That is perfect Christie! I love the chippy paint on top and how great to have it in the kid's tree house. Wish my kiddos could come over and play there! :-)

Christie, I can just imagine you trouncing out to the tree house to collect this little table for a blog photo shoot. It has such glamour potential for a photo!
Saving a piece and giving it a new life is so satisfying! You have made a very pretty little table!
