A Hint of Fall with a Couple of Old Cloches

My Grandmother's cloche is a favorite of mine.  She was such a good cook and I am reminded of all the yummy things she used to bake!  While I inherited this cloche, I did not inherit the gift of baking!
On to the porch for a little afternoon snack...
This little wire cloche on the porch covers a mason jar full of acorns and a candle.
It was such a beautiful morning, I enjoyed the same spot the next morning with a warm cup of tea.

I am joining the gracious hostess, Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for her Cloche Party!
She has such beautiful decorations!  I am always inspired!
Thank you, Marty!

I join these weekly parties here!

Love the willow stand that your inherited cloche sits on. Love the stick or whatever it is made of pumpkin. I have been looking at those. Can you tell me where the stand came from.

Well I just love your displays and all your delicious pictures! This could all move right in and m ake itself at home in my place. I'm just crazy for nature inspired decorating! Glad I stopped by!

I am always impressed by your artistic flair of displaying. You are inspiring me to think of using cloches more. That would be a good way to display a few things I love without my mischievous cats being able to play with them. Your grandmother's cloche is wonderful. I'm so glad you are using and enjoying it! The wire cloche is lovely, too. Did you embellish it or did it come that way?

Thanks so much for joining my Porch and Garden party!!! Your posts are always a treat.

I can not remember where I purchased the wire cloche. I have had it for a long time; however, I did see some larger ones at Homegoods for covering plates...same chicken wire! Thanks!

I like your cloches! They are quite interesting with different textures than the traditional glass!

Popped over from Marty's cloche party and had to tell you that I think all your cloche arrangements are stunning. Beautiful vignettes, and the table outside, is so inviting. What a lovely place to sit and enjoy afternoon tea.

Love your French wire cloche- it's so easy to just plunk a jar under an open cloche and burn the candle. I used the same idea last year for a Christmas themed cloche. Your Grandmother's cloche must be very special to you. I like the wicker stand you have it elevated upon.
Lovely all....

Creative use of your cloches. I saw some beautiful ones in an antique store yesterday and was trying to come up with an excuse to buy one or two. Maybe you have given it to me! (:
