My Grandmother's cloche is a favorite of mine. She was such a good cook and I am reminded of all the yummy things she used to bake! While I inherited this cloche, I did not inherit the gift of baking!
On to the porch for a little afternoon snack...
This little wire cloche on the porch covers a mason jar full of acorns and a candle.
It was such a beautiful morning, I enjoyed the same spot the next morning with a warm cup of tea.~
I am joining the gracious hostess, Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for her Cloche Party!
She has such beautiful decorations! I am always inspired!
Thank you, Marty!

ReplyDeleteI am always impressed by your artistic flair of displaying. You are inspiring me to think of using cloches more. That would be a good way to display a few things I love without my mischievous cats being able to play with them. Your grandmother's cloche is wonderful. I'm so glad you are using and enjoying it! The wire cloche is lovely, too. Did you embellish it or did it come that way?
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining my Porch and Garden party!!! Your posts are always a treat.

I can not remember where I purchased the wire cloche. I have had it for a long time; however, I did see some larger ones at Homegoods for covering plates...same chicken wire! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI like your cloches! They are quite interesting with different textures than the traditional glass!

The Things We Find Inside
Love your French wire cloche- it's so easy to just plunk a jar under an open cloche and burn the candle. I used the same idea last year for a Christmas themed cloche. Your Grandmother's cloche must be very special to you. I like the wicker stand you have it elevated upon.
ReplyDeleteLovely all....
