I think it is fair to say that many of us are crazy about pretty paper straws! Sur La Table carries a box of 144 red or blue straws in their store for $5.95! In the past I have ordered some from the web and can tell you that this is a pretty good deal!
I am shopping with my kids for school trying to find 'good deals' on school supplies, clothes, and shoes! Of course, these straws are not on the shopping list, but what a good deal! I am processing some fun ways to use them for gifts for Christmas!

ReplyDeleteHow funny that you posted this. I am just about to post my deal on my blog in a minute. I went to Stater Bros market for their stock up sale on Kellogg's products. I got 12 boxes of cereal for 1.49 ea. and 6 boxes of nutri grain bars and 6 boxes of fruit snacks for my grands, and 6 boxes of Eggo waffles and pancakes! GREAT deals! Love those straws. Will be in Sur la table soon for some.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's a good price. I just bought some red ones from Williams Sonoma yesterday and I think they were seven or eight dollars. Have you ever seen them in pink anywhere? :)

I've seen those straws around blogland and they are fun! My girlfriend gives great gifts- similar to the bowl combos you did the other day. Those straws would be so cute included in something like that.
