Breakfast on the Porch ~ Red, White and Cottage Blue

I love to be outside.  I love to dine outside.  We spend a lot of time on this porch!  The summers here in South Carolina can be stifling, so breakfast is the best time to enjoy a meal out here!

Plates: TJMaxx
Flatware: Homegoods
White pitcher: IKEA
Juice glasses: IKEA
Flag Pillow: Target
Small cherry paper napkins: Country Living K-Mart
Cherry and Strawberry salt and pepper shaker: K-Mart

Edit:  One of my visitors left me a message about 'flag etiquette.'  I have used flags in my decorations many times and was unaware of how to properly display a flag.  I am very grateful, as this has taught me what I should teach my children!  If you would like to learn more about respect for the flag and how to display it, click here!  Thank you Judy and Linda!

I am joining the CSI Project
and

I will link to my favorite sites throughout the week! See their buttons on my sidebar and go pay them a visit!
I hope you are having a great summer!  It has taken me three days, but I have finally recovered from my no-rest vacation!

  18. A few of you asked about the chairs! I purchased those recently from a traveling furniture store. Apparently, they sold their French line to Boyles, who recently went out of business. This Business decided to take their line on the road! I can't remember a name, as it was in a rental place, but do remember that they sell their items in High Point, NC, in addition to the traveling store. The chairs were available in green also! I am so sorry I don't have more info for you!

  25. Hi, I gotta tell you; I have a few of these dishes and I absolutely love them. They made my heart skip a beat when I spied them at T.J's. Didn't buy the silverware. It is so cute with the dishes. I had to laugh, I nabbed those napkins when I saw them in the clearance section at k'mart. Didn't see the shakers though. Love them, guess I'm gonna have to make another trip to K-mart.

  34. Betsy, The plates are made by 222 Fifth and are called 'New Country.' The pattern was available in plates, bowls, mixing bowls, etc! Good luck finding them!
