My daughter had a Polar Express Party today at pre-school. We had to bring a dozen cookies, so I went browsing the blogs and found these over at Crazy Domestic and thought they looked simple enough for even me to try! These were so fun to make...easy...and my kids enjoyed decorating their own batch last night!
I followed the directions here, except I used multi-colored sprinkles to decorate the eyes, nose and some of the buttons.
They really are yummy!

Merry Christmas!

Oh...my gosh...I had to go to a cookie exchange party last week and was desperate for a cute cookie to take. I so would have done these if I'd seen them. This is what I am doing next year for sure for the party. But I better do a test run and make some for myself this year. Thanks so much for posting!

These are the cutest things!! I love snowmen and have quite a collection that I set out each Christmas. One year the kids gave me a "S'mores" snowman candle. I never burned it but in the hot attic he melted a bit which added to his character. Last weekend when I pulled out the Christmas decorations he has "melted" more and looks just like your cookies. Can't wait to make them!
ReplyDeleteThe cookies are just adorable-I love them:@)

Ps. I stopped believing in Santa Claus when I was six. Mother took me to see him in a department store and he asked for my autograph.... Shirley Temple. Ds.
I just got caught up on all your Christmas decor. Loved your mantel and the red sock garland and everything in between!!!
ReplyDeleteThese cookies are just too cute. I sent a link to my sister. These would be so adorable for her kindergarten class.
ReplyDeleteWonder what happened to my comment here from last month?
