A Playroom

The little red desk was a flea market find for ten dollars.  The dark wooden doll cradle was also $10 from an antique mall.  I am fond of wooden toys, wagons and cradles, especially vintage ones!
My mother-in-law knitted the 'Goldilocks and Three Bears,' as well as, 'Eeyore.'
I hung the children's art work on the bookcase to mimic fancy libraries, where they often hang expensive art on the shelves!
The old Coca-Cola crate is perfect for holding small books and paper back books.
The little red stool was mine as a child.
My youngest little 'pixie'...
...who is already trying to mess up my playroom!  Oh, yeah, I guess it is for them!  Here is the space before I purged and organized it...
I hope it lasts longer than a week!

  7. What a cute play room and it looks so good all nice and organized, but am sure it won't stay that way long. It is for them to enjoy though. Love the toys your mom made.

  11. Oh my gosh, I cried when saw that stool. My Mamaw had one for me exactly like that at her house. I used it all the time. I have never forgotten that verse and it brings back so many wonderful memories. I don't know where it went when she died. Thank you so much for showing it and reminding me of all the wonderful time at her home. If you ever happen to find another one like it, please e-mail me. Oh, I'm hosting We're Organized Wednesday and would love for you to join the party. There's a giveaway too. Hope to see you there. Thanks again for the beautiful memories.
